## 1. Overview
WoodTools is a woodworking utility app for cut list optimization, CNC panel nesting, calculations, sketches, and project exports. We designed the App so that most project data stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, import, or use an online account feature.
## 2. Information We Collect
### Information stored on your device
WoodTools may store the following information locally on your device:
- App settings, such as language, units, default panel size, confirmation settings, and calculator symbol preferences
- Calculator history, if enabled
- Cut list history, if enabled
- Cut projects, panels, parts, kerf settings, optimized layouts, and related project data
- Sketches and sketch settings, such as drawing data, selected tool, color, and stroke width
- Locally saved profile image files when you choose to set a profile picture
This information is used to provide the App's features and is generally not sent to us unless you choose to share, export, back up, or otherwise transfer it.
### Account information
If you create or use an account, WoodTools uses Firebase Authentication, provided by Google, to handle account registration, login, password reset, and account deletion. Depending on how you use account features, Firebase Authentication may process:
- Email address
- Password credentials
- Authentication identifiers
- Authentication metadata, such as account creation date and last sign-in date
- Firebase user agent information, such as device, operating system, app bundle ID, and developer platform
WoodTools currently supports email and password authentication.
### Files and exports
WoodTools lets you import and export files, including `.cutproject`, PDF, DXF, and PNG files. When you use iOS sharing, document picker, Files, AirDrop, Mail, Messages, cloud storage apps, or other destinations, your files are handled by Apple and/or the third-party app or service you choose. Their privacy practices apply to that transfer.
### Photo library access
If you choose to update your profile picture, WoodTools may ask for access to your photo library through the iOS photo picker. The selected image is used for your profile picture. WoodTools does not scan your photo library.
